Indoor Swim Program

Maloney High School's pool will be open for public swim:

Monday, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 6:30-7:45pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 12:00-3:45pm

(closed holidays / snow days unless otherwise noted)

Daily updates are availabe on the Parks and Recreation
Department Activity Phone Line (203) 630-4279.
You must possess a valid 2003 tag - cost is $1.00 for
children ages 17 and under and $5.00 for adults.
Potential recipients must come in-person and bring
proof of Meriden residency to receive a pass at the
Meriden Parks and Recreation, 460 Liberty St, 630-4259

Co-Ed Adult Volleyball Program

Organized recreational volleyball games for adults ages 18 and
older take place at Lincoln Middle School from 6:00 - 9:00PM.
The program runs through April 8, 2003, except on
school holidays and snow days. A one-time $20.00
registration fee can be paid at the program or the

Leprechaun Hunt

Children ages 4-12 are invited to try to discover the
location of Patsy the Leprechaun by using clues given on the
Parks and Recreation Activity Line (630-4279) on these dates:
3/3, 3/5, 3/7, 3/10, 3/12, and 3/14.
Special bonus clues will also be given on City of Meriden TV
Channel 14. To receive the St. Patrick's Day prize package,
be the first child to locate Patsy and return him to the office of
Meriden Parks and Recreation, 460 Liberty St, 630-4259

2003 St. Patrick's Day Parade

This year's Meriden AOH presentation begins at 2:00PM.
The parade starts at the intersection of Parker Avenue
and East Main Street, proceeds on East Main through
the downtown area to West Main Street, and finishes at
the intersection of Bradley Avenue and West Main Street.
Groups wishing to march in the parade should call 235-6573.
