PLATT HIGH SCHOOL

Class of 1959 Reunion

45 years ago, the students of this era were torn apart -
separated by geographical residency. After having gone
to school together for many years, Meriden's 'east-siders'
were told they must attend their senior year in the newly
built Francis T. Maloney building on Gravel Street, while
the 'west-siders' go to Orville H. Platt on Coe Avenue.

On October 16, 2004, the graduates of '59 shall be able to
once again reunite for a special combined Maloney / Platt
45th reunion at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center located
on East Main Street (this facility was once the original public
library across the street from the former Meriden High School.)
The theme for this 7-midnight event is 'Thanks For The Memories'
with late '50s era musical entertainment and hors d'oeuvres offered.
Bring your old photos and stories (ask about the reunion booklet).
Cost is just $35.00 per person - please register by October 2nd.

The date and location are set with plans
underway for the 30th Class Reunion!

We will be gathering with old friends and classmates on
Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Mountainside Resort
in Wallingford. We start the night out at 7:00 p.m.
with an open bar cocktail hour until 8:00 p.m., dinner
served at 8:00, then entertainment (DJ), cash bar and
reminiscing with old friends will go until 12:00 midnight.

Our 10th year reunion is changed to June 17th, 2006
from 10am to 6pm at Mountainside, Wallingford.

free then at Quality Time, Broad Street, Meriden - you'll
