Meriden Lions Club Water Park

On the corner of Franklin Street and Park Avenue
is a new water feature at Meriden's 'City Park'.
Through August 26, facility hours will be from
11:00AM - 5:00PM (Mon-Sat)
2:00PM - 5:00PM (Sundays)
Please check the Parks and Recreation Activity
Line at 630-4279 during the week of August 27-31
for the facility hours. Tags are NOT required!

2001 Outdoor Public Swim Program

Time to hit the waters at the Hubbard Park Pool:

daily schedule
12:00-6:30pm ... Open Swim
6:45-7:45pm ... Adult Swim

Participants must possess valid 2001 tags
(cost $1 child 17 and under, $5 adult) available at

2001 Summer Playground Program

Children ages 6-14 are invited to experience fun-filled days of
games, activities, arts and crafts, and even field trips.
Playgrounds at Washington Park, Ceppa Field and Habershon Park
will be open weekdays from 8:30am-3:00pm. There is no cost
(except for field trips) - registration only at playground sites.

2001 Summer Fun Runs

The free runs get underway starting 6:30pm at the Platt High School track
and feature a 3/4 mile race for children and a 5k race for adults.
Refreshments are provided; award winners receive t-shirts!
